Short for Converged Enhanced Ethernet, CEE is an enhanced single interconnect
Ethernet technology designed to enable the convergence of various applications
in data centers, such as
LAN, SAN and
HPC. These applications are designed for
transport over existing storage networks with a high throughput and low-latency
communication. CEE may also be called Data Center Ethernet, or it may be
referred to as DCE by Cisco.
